Steps

Part 1 Sharing from YouTube

1 Navigate to the video on YouTube.com. You can embed any YouTube video in a blog post on Blogger. Use the search bar at the top of the screen to search, or click My Channel on the left column to browse your own videos.

2 Click Share. It's below the video. A pop-up will appear with various sharing options.

3 Click Blogger. It's the orange icon with a "B" inside. This opens a browser tab to a new Blogger post. The video will already be embedded within the new post.

If you're not already logged into your Blogger account, follow the on-screen instructions to do so now.

4 Edit your blog post. If you'd like to include your own text or images, add them to the post now.

5 Click Publish. It's the orange button below the post. The post and video are now live on your blog.

Part 2 Embedding in Blogger

1 Sign into https://www.blogger.com in a web browser. Once you're signed in, you'll see a list of your blog posts.

2 Create or edit a post. Click New Post if you'd like to create a post from scratch, or click Edit beneath an existing post to open it for editing.

3 Click the movie icon. It's the icon of a black-and-white director's clapperboard above your post. The "Add a Video" screen will appear.

4 Click From YouTube. It's near the top of the window.
If you want to post a video you've shared to your own YouTube account, click the My YouTube videos tab instead. This will only work if your YouTube account is connected to the same Google account as Blogger.
